Snow Lepard

High in the jagged mountains of Central Asia resides the reclusive Snow Leopard, one of the most spectacular members of the big cat family, yet so elusive it is rarely seen. This oil pastel was created many years ago when my focus was primarily endangered species and my goal was to bring attention to the plight of the world’s vanishing species. The Snow Leopard has been on the endangered Species list since 1972. I also used a quill pen and India ink to add detail.
